Cameroonian authorities are rallying against time to avoid a blank school year in the anglophone regions of the country where schools have been closed for 4 months, after teachers walked out of classes in November.
The GCE board which is the body that administers the anglophone sub-system exams has extended the exam registration deadline.Candidates for the various exams have until March 20, 2017 to finalize their registration for the exams which will be held in three months time.
Prime Minister Philemon Yang resumed his mediation tour on Monday in the northwest region of the country. His main objective is to convince education stakeholders in the region to allow pupils back to class and avoid a blank school year.
